About Us

Welcome to Amisk Christian Fellowship

A Church with Deep Roots and a Vision for the Future.

Amisk Christian Fellowship has been part of the community for nearly a century, built on a strong foundation of faith, prayer, and a desire to see lives transformed by Jesus Christ.

Our story began in the early 1900s, when local families started gathering in homes to worship and study God’s Word. Olaf Carbol, one of the early spiritual leaders, began a Sunday School in Amisk that laid the foundation for the church we know today. Shortly after, Joseph Holm, a Pentecostal minister, began traveling between Amisk and Metiskow, bringing consistent teaching and leadership.

In 1931, Rev. C.O. Nordin became the church’s first official pastor. Just two years later, in 1933, the congregation built its first church building, marking a major step forward in becoming an established faith community.

Over the decades, Amisk Christian Fellowship has continued to grow and adapt while staying rooted in biblical truth and Spirit-led ministry. We’ve seen God’s faithfulness through generations, and we’re excited for what He’s doing now and in the years to come.

Who we are Today

Under the leadership of Pastor Paul Dyck, we are a multigenerational, Christ-centered church that values authentic community, meaningful worship, and practical discipleship.

We’re passionate about:

  • Biblical teaching that equips people for everyday life
  • Worship that honors God and invites His presence
  • Community outreach that brings hope and support to those around us
  • Ministry to all ages, from children to seniors

Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or you’re new to the area, we invite you to come as you are and be part of what God is doing in Amisk.

Join us this Sunday — we’d love to meet you!
